Before contacting support

Open DomainVault Buddy and check the Help section inside the app.
Confirm macOS is up to date and restart the app.
If a provider connection fails, confirm the provider service is online and try the manual record fields.
If backup or restore fails, confirm you are choosing the correct encrypted backup file and passphrase.

Do not include passwords, API keys, recovery codes, private keys, or other secrets in a support request.

Security and passwords

DomainVault Buddy is not a password manager. It is designed to store the location or reference for passwords and API keys, while the secrets themselves stay in Apple Passwords, 1Password, Bitwarden, macOS Keychain, or another trusted password manager.
